This backup I am talking about really is the very last step in my 3-2-1 backup strategy. This is just a "doomsday backup" in case the videos disappear from the internet at some point and my other copies fail for some reason. Saving it to AWS Glacier Deep Archive seems like a reasonable and cheap way, because I do not plan on restoring it ever. I have about 500 GB of old Youtube videos that I would like to safely archive for 10 - 20 years. Just make sure to tag the post with the flair and give a little background info/context. On Fridays we'll allow posts that don't normally fit in the usual data-hoarding theme, including posts that would usually be removed by rule 4: “No memes or 'look at this '” We are not your personal archival army.No unapproved sale threads, advertisement posts, or giveaways.
